My favorite struggling, semi-famous and famous musicians

Jonathan Coulton – you go code monkey.

Robbie Fulk – alt country picker – humor and damn he can strum a guitar!

Regina Spektor – Beth describes her voice as a little waterfall on a hot day – maybe Beth should do the writing in this household – too bad, we’re stuck with me and my little adventure books, but thank God we have singer/songwriters like Regina to make up the difference.

Amy Winehouse is the polar opposite of our angel voiced Regina – and the world needs both – Rehab is probably in your future but who am I to tell you what to do with a voice like that and even more attitude.

One more from Regina to close it out because she’s break your heart good!

I had heard Amy Winehouse before, I caught her “You Know I’m No Good” video on tv when surfing one night. I liked it and the one you selected; however a couple of other of her songs I don’t like. “—- me pumps”, for example…I think its the range that she chose for the song annoys [me] rather than what the range she selected for the other songs do for me. :)

I hadn’t heard Regina Spektor ‘fore. Definitely a beautiful voice there! I think I like the second song more than the first one. :)
